Sometimes opportunities come in unexpected forms
As a dealer of used construction machinery and equipment, vehicles are not typically part of our business.
This Ford Explorer came to us as part of a larger equipment transaction. It wasn’t something we were looking to acquire, but once it arrived, we started discussing what to do with it.
Like any business, we could have sold it. Instead, we decided to explore whether it could make a greater impact elsewhere.
That conversation led us to Steven Muschlitz, owner of Country Club Autos and founder of Wheels From the Heart an organization dedicated to helping single mothers gain access to reliable transportation. For many families, having a dependable vehicle can mean easier access to work, childcare, education, and the everyday responsibilities that keep life moving forward.
Working alongside our partners at Wheels From the Heart, we arranged for the Ford Explorer to be donated to Jessica, a mother of four, a mother of four who needed dependable transportation for her family.
But this isn’t a story about a vehicle. It’s a story about what can happen when we choose to look beyond a transaction and see an opportunity to help someone move forward.
The video below captures that special moment and features Daniella Vitale, Chief Executive Officer (Americas) of Salvatore Ferragamo, who participated in the initiative and shares her perspective on the strength, determination, and resilience of single mothers.
