In the vibrant soccer landscape of Vancouver, France Football Club (FFC) stands out as a symbol of unity and passion for the game. Founded in 2016 by a group of spirited French friends at Le Cambie, the club brings together players from diverse backgrounds who share not only a love for soccer but also a common language. French is a requirement for team membership, creating a unique environment where francophones from France, Morocco, Algeria, Belgium, Canada, and beyond connect over a shared culture and distinctive European style of play.
Lyon Lifts has been a proud partner of FFC since the 2021–2022 season. From the start, our support has helped outfit players and cover key expenses like accommodations for the annual Squamish tournament and post-game gatherings at the local bars, so the team can focus on what matters most: the game and the camaraderie that follows.
Over the years, our partnership has played a role in FFC’s continued success and growth within the Vancouver Metro Soccer League and beyond. We’ve also supported the club’s involvement in non-league events and helped navigate the logistics that come with competitive play.
This ongoing partnership reflects more than a shared love of soccer: it’s about building a community that actively contributes to the well-being of others. By supporting France FC, we want to highlight the transformative power of sport and community engagement. It’s about making a lasting impact on the lives of those around us and embracing a spirit of collaboration and shared values alongside FFC.
